The Hidden Power of a Birthday Party

The first day after my birthday party I arose at 4:37am in the morning filled with excitement and new ideas. I had a BIG meeting that day with the Director of Reality TV Programming for a major cable network. Hey, you never know! You just may see your boy coming to a TV near you.

Today is day 2. I’m up again – early in the morning. It’s 3:58am as I write this e-mail.

What strange force pushed me out of bed at such an hour? I would desire to sleep but I can not. This force is called LIFE. I was given an extra dose of it at my 45th birthday party.

After 72 e-mails, 32 text messages, 510 Facebook updates, 8 cards, 7 gifts, 26 phone calls, 59 online viewers and 160 people at the 40/40 Club on September 29th – ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK YOU FOR ALL THE BIRTHDAY LOVE!

–> <-- Birthday love is the best. It marks another year's journey, allows you to bask in the warmth of appreciation and offers you a chance to plot a course for the future. This to me is a discovery! I just discovered the POWER of CELEBRATIONS! WOW! When people are united in thought and action, truly all things are possible! My birthday celebration has given me new energy and vitality to fight the good fight. Just a few weeks ago, I was feeling sorry for myself. But, now .... no more! You have re-kindled my fire and encouraged my work. I suggest that you use this same "hidden" power. I encourage you to host a celebration and use that NEW energy to dare something worthy. Thanks to you .... I've got the power! Now, it's your turn! I even wrote an e-book on how to plan a goal setting party. You can get a free copy of "A Dish Called Inspiration" at http://smallbusinesscamp.com/products/

The stories of success from my clients were an encouragement to me and others. My party was a reminder that there is more work to be done. This is why my birthday is your birthday!

Let’s work today and celebrate the NEW YOU who is set to emerge by the end of The 16 Week Challenge(r). Your success is my greatest gift. I understand exactly what you are saying. The same force has me up late at night and up early in the morning. It all began the night that I left the 40/40 club. It was a great experience for me and I thank you. You were great and the speakers were also. I was the child care provider who spoke to you at the end of the seminar. I have been working on ways to incorporate science into my program and have really been searching for other ideas. I believe more than ever that I can raise the $200,00 needed to purchase a building and am up for the 16 week challenge. I hope that your meeting regarding the reality show went well. I look forward to seeing you on tv. If there is anything that I can do on my end to assist please don’t hesitate to ask. Again thank you and good luck.
