First-of-the-Month Passion Check-Up
“Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life!” No matter how many times I hear that saying it gives me a level of energy to go out there and Carpe Diem (Seize the Day)!
All it takes is one idea to radically alter your thoughts, actions and destiny. The 16 Week Challenge is my BIG idea that has me jumping out of bed at 5am with new visions for greater service. You can still join at http://www.16weekchallenge.com.
We typically have to pay bills on the first day of the month. You don’t have to wonder if you will receive a bill for your rent, car note or cell phone. If your expenses come automatically each month then how about your passion.

Try and spend 15 minutes TODAY answering these questions:
1. What are you grateful for? List at least 5 things.
2. What really worked for you over the past 30 days?
3. What do you need to CONTINUE doing?
4. What were your frustrations? List the top 3
5. What must you do DAILY in order to deal with your top 3 frustrations? Ask for help if you are stuck with this question.
6. What must you STOP doing?
7. What must you START doing?
8. What “early-warning” indicators must you put in place to remind you that your goals are off-track?
9. What BIG ideas did you receive but lacked the courage to pursue?
10. How can you offer more “value” at home, school or work?
Question #9 really sticks out for me. My Twitter and FaceBook friends know that I attended a Father-Daughter Dance on Friday night. I’ve been going for the past 5 years and every year I end up in tears. My BIG idea is to start a Father-Daughter Dance Movement to help people plan their own event.
